Israel Dismisses US Peace Proposal for Gaza

Israel has turned down a 15-point peace plan for Gaza proposed by US President Donald Trump. The plan, dubbed the ‘Board of Peace,’ aimed to address ongoing tensions in the region.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel will not consider withdrawing from Gaza until Hamas is fully disarmed. Netanyahu’s stance highlights Israel’s security concerns and its demand for a complete cessation of hostilities from the militant group.

The US plan, while seeking to bring stability to Gaza, did not meet Israel’s condition of ensuring that Hamas relinquishes its weapons. This rejection underscores the complexities involved in diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict.

The immediate future of Gaza remains uncertain as Israel maintains its position, and international efforts continue to seek a viable path to peace.
