Education Minister Assures School Places for All by September

The Minister for Education, Hildegarde Naughton, has reassured parents across the country that there will be sufficient school places for all students by the start of the new school year in September. This commitment comes amid growing concerns from parents and educators about potential shortages.

In a statement, Minister Naughton outlined the government’s efforts to address the issue, stating that measures are being put in place to ensure that every child will have access to education. The department is reportedly working closely with schools to assess capacity and make necessary adjustments.

Concerns have been raised in various communities about the increasing number of students and the pressure on existing educational infrastructure. However, the minister expressed confidence that ongoing initiatives would effectively accommodate the needs of all students.

As the school year approaches, the Ministry of Education is expected to provide further updates on the progress of these initiatives to ensure transparency and reassure stakeholders of their commitment to education.
