The Irish government has reassured Ukrainians residing in temporary tourist and commercial accommodations that they will not experience sudden disruptions when the current housing scheme concludes later this year.
Minister of State with responsibility for Migration has stated that the government is actively working to prevent a ‘cliff-edge’ scenario for these individuals. The assurance comes amid concerns about the impending end of the housing arrangement, which was initially set up to support those displaced by the conflict in Ukraine.
