In Belfast, around 5,000 people assembled in the city centre to participate in a significant anti-racism rally. This gathering comes in response to a series of unsettling events that have occurred in recent days.
The rally follows a knife attack earlier in the week that has sparked widespread unrest across the region. Organisers of the event aimed to send a strong message against racism and violence.
Participants marched through the streets, holding banners and chanting slogans advocating for equality and justice. The demonstration remained peaceful, with a large police presence ensuring the security of all involved.
Community leaders have expressed the need for unity and understanding in the wake of these events, stressing the importance of addressing underlying issues of racial tension.
