A man involved in a series of burglaries, including a raid on a Dublin restaurant, has been sentenced to three years in prison. The final six months of his sentence have been suspended.
The incident came to a head when the man, identified as a serial burglar, was found hiding under a bed as gardaí arrived to arrest him. This arrest followed his theft from staff lockers at a restaurant in Dublin.
