In a significant breakthrough for law enforcement, Gardaí have seized almost €8 million worth of herbal cannabis at Dublin Port. This operation was part of a coordinated effort involving the Revenue Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
The confiscation took place as part of an intelligence-driven investigation aiming to curb the influx of illegal drugs into the country. The seized contraband, weighing approximately 392 kilograms, represents a substantial haul in the ongoing battle against drug trafficking.
