Vhi, Ireland’s leading health insurance provider, has announced a forthcoming adjustment to its policy premiums, set to take effect from the beginning of October. This change will see an average price increase of 2.75% across its health insurance plans.
The decision comes as Vhi responds to rising healthcare costs, a common trend observed across the industry. The insurer aims to maintain high standards of service and cover a wide range of medical expenses, which necessitates periodic pricing reviews.
Existing policyholders will be notified of the specific changes to their premiums in advance. New rates will apply to renewals and new policies taken out from October onwards.
