Ireland Celebrates Double Silver at World Rowing Championships

On the final day of the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam, Ireland’s rowing team delivered outstanding performances, capturing two silver medals.

Fiona Murtagh emerged as a star in the single sculls event, showcasing her strength and precision on the water. Her remarkable effort secured her a silver medal, adding to Ireland’s growing reputation in the sport.

In the mixed double sculls, Mags Cremen and Konan Pazzaia combined their skills to achieve another podium finish for Ireland. Their well-coordinated teamwork and determination were evident throughout the race, earning them a well-deserved second-place finish.
