A woman has been taken into custody following a violent altercation during an attempted home repossession. The incident occurred when the woman, under a suspended sentence, allegedly used a Taser on a bank security manager and assaulted another individual.
The court heard that the woman ‘lunged’ at the security manager with the Taser, escalating tensions during the operation. In addition to the use of the Taser, she reportedly punched another manager in the head.
Following the incident, she was asked to sign a bond to keep the peace as part of her suspended sentence conditions. Her refusal to comply with this requirement resulted in her being taken into custody.
The case highlights the potential for violence in repossession situations and the legal repercussions when court orders are not adhered to.
